Director of Photography
I'm a Biloxi, Mississippi native with a lifelong love for storytelling and a camera always close by. My creative journey kicked off in high school when a movie was filmed at my house. I ended up working as a stand-in for the lead actress and even appeared as an extra. That behind-the-scenes experience opened my eyes to the magic of filmmaking, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I went on to study film at the University of Southern Mississippi, graduating in 2020. Since then, I’ve worked on television productions for Hulu, HBO, FOX, and others, honing my craft as both a cinematographer and photographer. I opened Savvy Snapshots in 2018 during college, and have shot hundreds of weddings and events since.
When I’m not on set or in the editing suite, you can usually find me playing video games or hanging out with my three cats at home — my favorite furry crew.
Our team has been honored as Best of Coastal Mississippi two years in a row, and in 2025, I was selected as one of only 14 filmmakers — out of more than 500 applicants — for the NFL Women in Sports Filmmaking Experienceship in New Jersey.

I’m Dalton — photographer, filmmaker, and the other half of Savvy Snapshots. I got my start in this field back in community college, when I began helping Savanna with her wedding and photography business. What began as casual support quickly turned into a genuine passion, and now I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Since then, I’ve worked as an audio assistant for Hulu and on reality shows for HGTV, gaining hands-on experience with the fast-paced world of TV production, even getting to work with Savanna on tv shows. These experiences have sharpened my eye for detail and taught me the importance of capturing moments that matter — whether it’s on a big set or during an intimate wedding ceremony.
These days, I shoot at weddings, events, and branding sessions, and we both love getting to work together to tell people’s stories. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, tackling home projects, and playing video games.
